Become an exhibitor!
This winter, our Christmas magic will once again take place at Burg Bentheim! Last year, we welcomed over 25,000 visitors, which is why we are delighted that a Christmas market can take place at the castle again this year.
Preparations are already in full swing: we are now looking for exhibitors who will inspire visitors with their individual offerings and contribute to the unique, fairytale atmosphere at the castle.
The prerequisite for participation is a handmade product range and a high-quality presentation on the stand. If you are interested in a stand, you will find below our application form. All applications received will be carefully reviewed. Important for us are meaningful photos of your products and, if available, the presentation of your products.

- Exhibitor
As an exhibitor, you do not need a trade license — you can also participate as a private individual. We welcome stands with an EC cash machine — although this is not a requirement, it is very popular with visitors. There is also no stand fee for craft exhibitors. Other exhibitors will receive an individual offer.
- Structure
The assortment can be set up from the Monday before the start of the weekend. The huts are provided and do not have to be brought or set up by yourself. Modifications to the huts, such as an open front, are unfortunately not possible. The huts may be individually decorated.
- Procedure
The Christmas market begins on the Friday before the 1st-4th Advent 2025. The products on offer can remain in the huts during the rental period and do not have to be taken out and put away again — the huts and Bentheim Castle are locked by the castle staff in the evening.
Information about the stand
The acceptance of your application depends on various factors. The following criteria are decisive in the selection process:
We are looking for exhibitors who offer handmade, unique products. The more original the offer, the higher the probability that the segment is not yet available at the Christmas market and that your application will be successful.
In order to create an atmospheric Christmas market, a high-quality presentation of the products is essential. The huts provided should only be decorated with natural materials and warm lighting.
EXHIBITOR:INSIDE
The focal point of the Christmas market is the castle courtyard, where exhibitors can delight guests with their individual, high-quality offerings. Decorated stalls offer culinary delicacies, handicrafts and handmade items.
ATMOSPHERE
Atmospheric music and a lighting concept will create a Christmassy flair at the castle. The trees will be hung with fairy lights and there will be a nostalgic carousel in front of the Kronenburg.
OFFER
Visitors can be enchanted by the various stands and the atmosphere on the grounds or explore the interior of Bentheim Castle. There are also activities for our younger visitors to play and do handicrafts.
