You may drive your car onto the castle grounds for assembly and dismantling (see point: “Is it possible to park my car next to the stand?”). After setting up and dismantling, the car must be driven directly off the grounds.

You can then park in the visitor parking lot. There is also a separate motorhome parking area here, where you can also stay overnight.
The parking lot is located in Bad Bentheim Castle Park: Google Maps (Funkenstiege, 48455 Bad Bentheim).

Please let us know in good time if you fall ill so that a replacement can be arranged.

There is a visitor limit of 900 people on the castle grounds.

The castle courtyard is largely barrier-free. The castle can only be partially visited with a wheelchair or walker. While the Marstall is equipped with an elevator, the first floor of the Kronenburg or the battlements, for example, can only be reached via stairs.

The Christmas market is not guarded at night. However, the huts and the castle are locked at night so that you do not have to clear out the products. The castle staff at Burg Bentheim will be happy to answer any questions you may have from 10 a.m. — 8 p.m./9 p.m.

The stands can be set up from 2 pm on the Monday before the start of the Christmas market weekend. The huts are already set up at this time and can be individually decorated. Exact set-up times will be allocated to you shortly before the start of the Christmas market.

The stands have a size of 2x3 meters and can be set up individually.

The stand must be dismantled on the Sunday evening or Monday after the exhibited weekend. If you also have a stand on the following weekend, this stand can remain in place.

It is possible to drive onto the grounds to transport the stand equipment. During the exhibition it is not permitted to park the car next to the stand or to drive into the castle courtyard.
