EXPERIENCE BENTHEIM CASTLE DIGITALLY

Once built to protect its inha­bi­tants, Bentheim Castle is now an exci­ting excur­sion desti­na­tion for visi­tors of all ages.
The digital castle tour takes place in the stables of Bentheim Castle and is desi­gned for people who are unable to explore Bentheim Castle on foot.

The castle tour is presented on four screens, accom­pa­nied by expe­ri­enced castle guides who will be happy to answer your ques­tions.
The main prot­ago­nist of the castle tour is our long-stan­ding castle guide Helga, who takes us on a fasci­na­ting tour of the castle grounds and through the inte­riors of Bentheim Castle and tells us the stories and secrets of the castle.
After the digital castle tour, the castle guide will take you on a tour of the castle cour­tyard and the first floor of the Kronen­burg.

Unfort­u­na­tely, we do not offer drinks or snacks during the digital perfor­mance.
But don’t worry, you are welcome to bring your own favo­rite drinks, nibbles and treats and make yourself comfor­table during the perfor­mance.

The digital castle tour can be booked every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 11:00 and 15:00 from March to October.

  • Dura­tion

The digital castle tour (inclu­ding a 10-minute break) followed by a tour of the cour­tyard and Kronen­burg Castle lasts 90 minutes.

  • Price

Tickets cost €7.50 per person.
In addi­tion, there is a one-off fee of €39 per group as a fee for the accom­panying castle guides.

  • Regis­tra­tion

Regis­tra­tion is possible for groups of up to 25 people.
Diffe­rent groups may be combined.

Approach

PARKING LOTS

If you have booked our digital castle tour, you can drive your vehicle up to Bentheim Castle and park in the castle cour­tyard.
On arrival, simply report to the castle ticket office between the first and second castle gates — a member of staff will show you the way.

Further parking is available in the parking lot of the castle park at the Funkenstiege.
From here it is approx. 300 m on foot to the castle ticket office.
